Arriva London’s Heritage Fleet has a busy schedule throughout the year, supporting charitable events and helping clients celebrate their special occasions, and 2011 has been no exception.

This years Lord Mayor’s show saw the Heritage Fleet’s RMC 1464, the Open Topper, in the parade to transport staff and family from Lloyd’s Register, who were celebrating 250 years of the companies service.

Visitors were offered a ride on this London icon, and far away from her London home, she was a star attraction all weekend.

There was cause for celebration as staff at Arriva London's Thornton Heath garage commemorated sixty years as a motor bus garage and continuous operation or route 109, on April 8th 2011.

Arriva will be running four of its historic Routemasters from the Arriva Heritage Fleet on Route 109 on Saturday 9th April.

In April, Arriva will be celebrating 60 years of the route 109, and 60 years of Thornton Heath as a bus depot.
