On the 6th July, three of the Arriva Heritage Fleet attended a Late at The Tate evening at Tate Britain

RM 2217, RMC1464 (our open topper) and RML 2360 (the Italian Job)

RM 2217 and RMC 1464 gave pre- ticketed passengers a short tour of London, accompanied by some song leaders, Cleo and Ollie Bayley and Lucy Allan. All the passengers had to learn the song ‘A transport of Delight’ and on their return to Tate Britain sing the song on the lawn of the Gallery.(see video)

RML 2360 provided a static display outside the gallery and visitors were able to view a Sing London Video and a DVD of the Heritage Fleet in action.(see video)

None of the fleet were involved on the 7th July, when a choir formed by Arriva staff sang to paintings in the National Gallery for half an hour in the morning.(see video)
.
On the 8th July the Sing London festival finale day, RMC 1464 undertook a Magical mystery tour from Camden to the South Bank. The tour started at 12.00 in Camden near The Abbey Studios and then wound its way through London to arrive at the South bank at around 15.00 .

The bus carried performers from The institute of Contempary music and stopped at various sites en route to perform to the public.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Sing London organizers for inviting us to join their festival celebrations, We had a truly great time at all the events and were very pleased to be of assistance with The Arriva heritage Fleet.
